Psychedelic music has touched me in a way that no other music has been able to do, and I knew deep down that there was something transformative imbedded within this feeling. My journey through the psychedelic music scene has given me endless awe and inspiration, with an almost renaissance type feel compared to what my previous perceptions of art and music used to be. This worldwide culture has the potential to bring positive change to the world through amazing creatives and gatherings of positive intent.
Psychedelic music has given me an escape from the unfulfilling 9-5 structural engineering life I crave to escape. Forever grateful for finding a tribe that embraces weirdness and creativity, it is more than one could ever ask for. If someone asked me to describe my style I would describe my flavour as a cup of crazy, 2 tablespoons of weird, with a pinch of how did that happen, and preferably hanging out around 142-148 bpm.
Inspiration is all around us in our everyday life, but for me I draw a large melting pot and within it lie some of the following: Leonardo da Vinci, Nikola Tesla, Bob Marley, John Lennon, Jimmy Hendrix, Michael Jackson, Outkast, Mos Def, Ella Fitzgerald, Lee Scratch perry, Pink Floyd, Fat Freddys Drop, Fugees, Salmonella Dub, Black Seeds, Kalya Scintilla, Land Switcher, Raja Ram, Ajja, Tristan, Flying Lotus, Rza, Jim Morrison, Serj Tankian.
I look forward to meeting you on the Dancefloor!
