Terra Nine is a psychedelic ambient act from New Zealand, incorporating live instrumentation and electronic wizardry to produce a truly unique sound, ranging in genre from psydub to slow trance, breaks and liquid drum n bass. The music features a synergy of bowed and plucked string sounds, mangled into mind bending psychedelia and poured in real time over a fat bottom end of organic beats and basslines. Terra Nine’s releases over the past 13 years include seven albums and numerous EPs, as well as tracks on myriad compilations, all featuring his distinctive mixture of live organic lushness. Terra Nine’s music has also included collaborations and remixes by and for numerous international artists - including OTT, Gaudi, Gabriel Le Mar, Kaya Project, Tripswitch, Kuba, Green Beats, Unknown Reality (Braincell chill project), Suduaya, Astropilot, Pete Ardron, Kick Bong, Squazoid, Green Beats, Trancient Dreams, Noosfaere and more.
Terra Nine has performed unique live audio/visual shows world-wide - at festivals like Anthropos (UK), Glade (UK), Triplicity (UK), Aurora (Greece), Antaris (Germany), Shankra Festival (Switzerland), Samsara (Hungary), SUN Festival (Hungary) Digital Forest (Czech Republic), Misterika (Ukraine), Hadra Trance Festival (France) Rainbow Serpent (AU), Shipwrecked (NZ), Earthbeat (NZ), Twisted Frequency (NZ), AUM (NZ) and Dimension as well as performing support act for Deep Forest and Gaudi.
