Volunteer AGREEMENT

For: DURING EVENT Volunteer


Thank you for applying to be a volunteer to work during Dimension Festival.  By us sending you this page we have accepted your application and all that remains is for you to agree to the below terms and conditions.

This page will outline how it works and if you are happy with everything here please confirm with us that you wish to move forward and be part of this experience!

Key Points

 FESTIVAL ADDRESS AND GETTING THERE

The Festival is located at 1207 Waimatenui East Road, Donnellys Crossing.

You will be responsible for getting to and from the festival site in your own transport.  Please be sure you have this organised to get to and from the event.  We cannot provide transportation.  We will send you a map closer to the time.

ARRIVE AND LEAVE TIMES

It is likely you will be required to be on site from Thursday 6th February until Monday 10th February.  We will need to confirm your shift times closer to the event, but a lot of the volunteering is related to helping keep the site clean, so this will be needed until the end of Monday 10th

INTOXICATION

As part of the conditions of volunteering you agree you will not be intoxicated during your shift.  If you show up and clearly cannot perform you will forfeit your ticket refund.  So please be aware of this.

HOURS

There will be an expectation that you work 4 x 6 hour shifts throughout the festival and the day after.  We want to ensure you get a chance to enjoy the festival so you will get at least one night/day off.  Your department manager will 

FOOD

You will be responsible for your own food and cooking method for all of the days that you are on site.  During the event you can purchase food from the food vendors as an option.

CAMPING

You can camp in the camping area during the time you are on site at the festival. 

NO DOGS OR ANIMALS

As per festival rules there are absolutely no dogs or animals allowed to be brought on site.

DEPARTMENT ALLOCATION

You will be allocated to one of our departments prior to the event and the department manager will be in touch with further details of what you will be doing. They may want to organise a pre meeting or discussion to please be sure you can make yourself available as required. The better we can be organised before you get there the less stress it is.

PROMOTION

We appreciate your assistance to market the festival, and you will be given a Facebook header and we appreciate it if you would share our posts from the page.

TICKETING

As a during festival volunteer, it will be essential that you show up to your shift on time and NOT be intoxicated.  To make this easier how we work it is: 

  • You purchase your “Volunteer” Ticket when we confirm your roster

  • You will be checked off for each shift you attend

  • After you have confirmed all of your shifts we will refund you the volunteer ticket money
