BECCA

In 2005 Becca moved from Scotland to New Zealand’s shores, where she embraced the Kiwi lifestyle and discovered the NZ festival scene.

Refuelling her passion for music this also led to meeting her special someone, Mickey Velvet.

During lockdown, Mickey provided Becca her first opportunity to get behind the decks and with Mickey's guidance she took to it like a duck to water. Just six months later, she played her first gig with LETGO at the Fitzroy lounge bar.

Becca first disovered her passion for dance music in the early 90’s and musical influencers include; John DIgweed, Sasha, Justin Robertson, Steve Lawler, Underworld, Plump Dj’s. The Prodigy.

Becca's mixes are a diverse blend of progressive, funky house and tech rhythms, with occasional excursions into melodic and uplifting trance.

She has a residency at LETGO and has performed at events such as Earth Dance-Aotearoa, and Dimension 2023.

Becca's music journey is one to follow, and she is stoked to be returning to the Zen Den at Dimension festival in 2024.
