DJ KONCEPT

I produce drum n bass, breakbeat hardcore and trip hop/hip hop. I mostly gravitate to the deeper, more melodic side of things, and I love my head-nodding breakbeats and deep basslines. I have released music with well known artists such as A Sides and Kool Keith. I also have two projects on the way on the well known label Kniteforce, as well as co-running two labels with my brother Adam aka Albert Wesker. Vinyl Combat is the main label that we run, which is now totally DnB focused, and we have just recently set up Knife Skills which is for other forms of breakbeat music. We are now up to our 15th release with lots more in the pipeline.

I have also been a DJ for around 20 years now, starting off with hip hop and then moving into the rave territory with various styles but mostly DnB. I have also been active in DJ battles throughout my whole time DJing and won many awards, most notably being crowned the UK DMC Champion in 2018. I always like to add the turntablism element into my DJ sets and sometimes my music production too. I have been on and off with making music from before I started DJing, but it's only been over the past few years that I've been taking it a lot more seriously, so even though I've been involved in music for quite a while, I feel like I'm only really getting started.
