Popplewell (Joshua Popplewell) is an Auckland based DJ with an arsenal of heavy hitting drum and bass tunes that he has been performing to crowds over the past 4 years.

Popplewell has an ear for deep heavy basslines with a creative use of percussion/drums. His love for drum and bass started when he was 16 from the likes of Noisia and Ed Rush and has been hooked on the genre ever since. Over the past four years of DJing Popplewell has developed a style of mixing that combines heavy minimalistic basslines with quick and clean drums to create a high energy, creative and new sounding set.
