RUBY LOU

Wellington born, Auckland based DJ, RUBY LOU has positioned herself as a well-known underground artist pushing the sounds of deep dub, heavy hitting and high energy bass. Taking pride in the art of mixing and creating sets that take listeners on a journey through different genres and BPMs.

Inspired by the Sound System community in Auckland and being a part of the PDC Crew, Ruby draws inspiration from the likes of Neffa-T, Alix Perez and Paige Julia, her technical ability makes her sets unmissable for anyone with respect to the craft. Ruby has played at both 1985 MUSIC shows in Auckland over the past two years as well as other big-name festivals including Northern Bass and Deep Hard n Funky and has supported the likes of Ivy Lab, Monty, Visages, TRUTH, Alix Perez, Headland, Paige Julia, P Money (UK) and Mungos HiFi. Ruby is only getting warmed up and plans to solidify her style within the New Zealand music scene.
