DROP ZONE ARTIST
ALBERT WESKER
Adam Black - known to some as Albert Wesker - was introduced to music like many others, through his dad. As a child his dad would play a diverse range of music such as Bowie, Sade, Grace Jones, Jamiroquai and The Prodigy to name but a few. This impacted his taste from an early age.
Later his older brother David (DJ Koncept) further influenced his tastes when he brought home some CDs and a hi-fi system. This opened his eyes to an even wider range of music and helped track down specific styles of interest, though even from a young age hip hop had the most impact. It was again his older brother who got him into DJing and showed him the ropes.
Fast forward 10 years and his musical tastes have evolved further, and his own music production now mainly consists of Drum and Bass, but he also makes other styles such as Hip Hop and Atmospheric Jungle.
He has gained support from big names in the scene such as Grooverider, Dj Trax, El Hornet (Pendulum), London Electricity and many more, and has also collaborated with well established artists such as A Sides. He has been building momentum and continues to evolve as an artist with many upcoming projects in the pipeline.
