Location and Travel
Dimemsion is location in one of the most pristine locations in New Zealand, plus we can run our soundsystems for the full duration. In order to do this and keep everyone happy, we have to be in a remote location, but the trip is well worth it when you get there!
It's easiest to Dimension by car, but if you are coming from overseas we offer a range of options to get to the festival, as well as somewhere to sleep, so you can just come with your toothbrush and a bag and have the experience of a lifetime!

Driving to Dimension
Google maps is your friend, but be sure to download the full map as theres no mobile reception on site. Key things tp remember when driving to Dimension
Last Food stop from Auckland is in Ruakaka, theres a great bakery there “La Nonna”
Please be aware the last 10km is gravel road so drive carefully
To help us lessen our impact on the environment and our festival site, we encourage you to reach out to your fellow Dimension attendees to carpool.
Each vehicle entering the festival must have either a Parking Pass OR Vehicle Camping Pass (available as a ticket upgrade) - so why not split the cost with your new found friends.
Dimension from Overseas
Travelling from overseas? You can get to the Dimension Festival site a number of ways if you do not have car, and we offer very reasonably priced tents on site (Ultimate Festival Kits) that allow you to come without the hassle of setting up camp or driving. Just bring your bag and a toothbrush!
You just need to get to Whangarei, and from there you can catch the Dimension Shuttle to and from the festival site. Please take note of the shuttle times below, and be sure to be at the Intercity Terminal or the Whangarei airport before those.
Getting to Whangarei
Option 1: By Aeroplane
If you land in Auckland airport, you can easily just grab a flight from Air New Zealand that will fly to Whangarei in around 1 hour, and back too!
Search Flights: Friday 31 Jan -> Tues 4th Feb. Auckland to Whangarei.
Option 2: By Bus
There is a very reasonable priced Intercity bus service to Whangarei. It goes from Auckland Airport and stops in Auckland City.

Dimension Shuttle
The Dimension Shuttle costs $50 each way, and we will pick up / drop off from the Bus Station and the Airport in Whangarei. When you purchase your tickets from eventbrite your details are noted and we will email you the full details closer to the time.
WHANGAREI -> DIMENSION
FRIDAY 31 JANUARY 2025 @ 4PM
Note: An Intercity Bus arrives in Whangarei at 3:50pm, and we will wait for it.
4:00pm Pick up Whangarei Bus Station - Outside Whangarei Art Museum, The Town Basin, 91 Dent Street
4:20pm Pick Up Whangarei Airport - Outside Terminal, Whanagarei Airpot
5:30pm Arrive at Dimension Festival
Dimension -> Whangarei
The music finishes at 4pm on Monday, so just chill, relax, sleep and then you are good to travel the following day, hence the shuttle goes on the Tuesday.
