Liminal: of, relating to, or being an intermediate state, phase, or condition
Bass and groove heavy music has always interested me, first through sludge and stoner metal, then through trap and dubstep. But my passion for this scene truly became my world when I first saw Dylan C in 2020. I naturally picked up DJing very shortly after this. I am drawn to sounds that occupy spaces that are hard to fit into a box, tracks that feel both huge and smothering, genres that are hard to define, bass music made by people who don't make bass music. While I have mostly been a bedroom DJ, mixing at house parties and friends events, this year I have been pushing myself to play out and have played two events at Neck of the Woods in Auckland.
