Festival CREATORS

The Festival Creators are the Dimension creation crew! Like ourselves, you are full crew members and will be there for the end to end experience like we are.

This means arriving on Saturday 25th of January, and stay through until 6th February to finish the job. You will not have to work at all during the festival, we want you to enjoy it! On all work days you will get a crew meal 3 times a day.

You will not have to pay for your ticket or a bond.

When you sign up below you will need to select your department preferences, here is the list of departments we are taking CREATOR volunteers for. Please note that setup is fluid and you may be moved between departments!

Astral Arena: Help set up the Astral Arena at Dimension. Looking for people with skills on rigging, sound, lighting, electrical, stage building and general production.

Cosmic Village: Set up the cosmic village - so tents and site clearing - and general installation of infrastructure, signage and riverside equipment.

Zen Den: Set up the Zen Den - tents and site clearing, and general installation of infrastructure, signage and riverside equipment. Looking for people with skills in rigging, stages and building.

Drop Zone: Set up the Drop Zone. General installation of stage, lighting, sound etc./. Looking for people with skills in those areas.

IT: Set up the IT network on site. Involves trenching cables, rigging masts and installation of wi fi equipment. Looking for skills in cable laying etc.

Arts: Set up the Pixie dust hollow, paint signs and general setup of all of our arts experiences. Looking for skills in painting, design, rigging of installations

Crew Kitchen: Part of our crew kitchen to assist the cooking team in feed all of us. Looking for skills in cooking, cleaning and general kitchen maintennce.

Site Installations: Installations of infrastructure across site. Water, fencing, signs, and everything else we can throw at the installations team. Need to be able to take directions, smart an resourceful.

Site Electrical & Lighting: Installations of electrical and lighting across the site. Looking for skills in electrical, lighting, trenching, cable laying and other tasks.

Building: Building team responsible for site builds that need builder expertise. Such as structures, covers and the like. This is a skilled team with building experience, and provide own tools. NOTE: will not be required to stay to pack down, just complete the building tasks planned.

Campground Management: Team responsible for setting up campgrounds. Skills in painting, decorating and marking. Just need to be able to take directions.

Crew Area: Responsible for setting up the entire crew area - fencing, clearing, structures and installations. Just need to be smart and able to take directions.

There are a range of positions that make joining the Dimension journey even more interesting behind the scenes! 

Contributing puts you right in the heart of the festival and allows you to unlock your ticket while making lifelong friends and creating something truly magical together. 

You can choose from the volunteer positions below depending on your availability and interests.



Festival Rangers

For those that want to contribute during the festival, this is for you! You’ll need to be there the day before the festival starts and complete a set of shifts with the other Festival Rangers. In general you’ll be spreading positivity and ensuring guests are looked after through a variety of tasks and roles during the festival.

You need to pay a volunteer bond which will be refunded when you complete your shifts. 

When you sign up below you will need to select your department preferences, here is the list of departments we are taking ranger volunteers for.

Bar: Work shifts on the bar. Skilled in bar work

Markets: Assist with marketplace management, in particular Cashless shifts

Guest Centre: Work in the guest centre supporting our lead to be the face of Dimenson. Good customer services skills and a positive attitude is what we want here.

Gate & Accreditation: Work on the gate - greeting people, wrist bands, and being the first experience people have with Dimension.

Waste Management: Regular shifts keeping the place pristine and beautiful, and helping our sustainability vision. Plus any other rangering tasks.

Campground Management: Helping park cars, set people up and generally provide support for our campers, plus help run the showers.
